Cake sells battery-powered motorcycles and is founded by serial entrepreneur Stefan Ytterborn, who previously built and sold the helmet company POC. Electrification has caused the market to explode. In September, Cake raised $60 million in a rights issue.
“I don’t think there will be a single petrol-powered vehicle in the case of motorised two-wheelers in 10 years’ time,” says Stefan.
