Nordic Startup Award has established itself as the leading Nordic entrepreneur arena, gathering all stakeholders within the Nordic startup ecosystem to recognize and celebrate the best achievements in the region during the past year. Nordea, being one of the main partners, contributes by engaging our experts in the jury as well as in discussion panels throughout the event.
Curious about which Nordic startups, incubators, co-working spaces and startup ecosystem heroes that are in the final? The answer to the question can be found here.
The Nordic Startup Award aims at engaging the startup ecosystem in filtering out winners. Throughout the year a series of events are hosted in all the Nordic countries, to select the most forward-looking entrepreneurs, investors, incubators and ecosystem heroes.
The final award ceremony for the Nordic regional winners takes place on the 5th of December in Copenhagen.
“In the startup world everything is extremely fast-paced. We want to stop for a minute and celebrate those who have done something extraordinary”, says Jacob Faber Andersen Head of Startup & Growth Denmark at Nordea.
After the ceremony the announced Nordic winners will enter a global competition. The ambition is to find the next startup unicorns!
Nordea supports entrepreneurs on a daily basis by providing expert advice, funding and exposure to a strong network of investors to expand their business ideas beyond the Nordics. Throughout the year Nordea engages in several partnerships all with a clear entrepreneurial growth ambition, developing start-ups to mature businesses.
“It is important to remember that all stakeholders in the startup ecosystem play a huge role in solving environmental and societal challenges. Being the leading Nordic bank, we are proud to partner up with the Nordic Startup Award to further strengthen the entrepreneurial eco-system in the Nordics”, says Jacob Faber Jensen Head of Startup & Growth Denmark at Nordea
